Ken Elliott, P.G., ERM
Ken Elliott, Principal and founder of FIDELIS Environmental Risk Management, LLC, has been working as an Owners Representative since 1993 when he started his first company. Ken directs FIDELIS’ overall business operations and is responsible for overseeing the management of all active projects. He has over 25 years environmental experience working on behalf of industry, directing consultants, legal counsel, and construction teams to strategically remediate and reposition contaminated properties within the Brownfield market. He coordinates activities with numerous strategic partners including Brownfield firms, developers, investment partners, legal firms, real estate brokers, environmental and engineering consultants, and end-use markets.
Ken has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters Degree in geology and has been working in the environmental arena since the mid-80s. In addition, he is a licensed Professional Geologist (PG) as well as a certified Environmental Risk Manager (ERM). Ken has operated as an Owners’ Representative on large environmental sites across the country typically working for Fortune 500 firms in the mining, manufacturing, insurance and real estate industries.
Ken lives in Conifer, Colorado with his wife Jana, their two children. He is an enthusiastic hunter (elk, deer, and pheasant) enjoys fly fishing, deep sea fishing and snow skiing. His hobbies include bee keeping, riding ATVs in the Rocky Mountains, hiking, and target shooting. Ken attends church at Platte Canyon Community Church.

Steve Houston, PhD, PE, LEED AP BD+C
Steve Houston is a Principle in FIDELIS Environmental Risk Management, LLC. Steve served in the US Army for 25 years as an Infantryman, Aviator and Environmental Engineer/Scientist, and after retiring as Lieutenant Colonel, he has for the past three years working as a Sustainable Development Leader in industry. He has over 15 years of environmental experience working as an engineer, researcher, professor, consultant, and project and program manager.
Steve has a BS in Environmental Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a MSE in Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and a PhD in Ecology from Colorado State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Environmental Engineering (Virginia), and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional. Steve has extensive experience in sustainable development leading design and implementation teams for sustainable infrastructure and Net Zero development as well as in ecological assessment and restoration.
Steve lives in Monument, Colorado with his wife and two children. He is an avid outdoorsman, who enjoys hunting and fishing. His hobbies include golf, skydiving, hiking and biking.
